Rosston is a town in south-central Nevada County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 265 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Hope Micropolitan Statistical Area. == Geography == According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 11.6 km2 (4.5 mi2), of which 11.5 km2 (4.4 mi2) is land and 0.1 km2 (0.04 mi2) (0.45%) is water. == Demographics == === 2020 Census === === 2000 census === As of the census of 2000, there were 265 people, 95 households, and 72 families residing in the town. The population density was 23.0/km2 (59.5/mi2). There were 118 housing units at an average density of 10.2/km2 (26.5/mi2). The racial makeup of the town was 41.89% White, 57.74% Black or African American, 0.38% from other races. 0.38% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 95 households, out of which 42.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.7% were married couples living together, 15.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.2% were non-families.
